Set around Halloween 2002, DON’T YOU JUMP follows a group of teens after they watch a cursed VHS tape tied to a creature that feeds on fear. Every genuine scare brings them closer to The Lurker, a deadly humanoid entity governed by a specific set of rules.

The screenplay combines cursed-media horror, early-2000s atmosphere, and survival suspense while the characters race to understand the tape before fear finishes counting them down.
